E-Z DRUM AND BASS ORCHESTRA
" BEAT GIRL "
SLICE RECORDINGS
RELEASED: OCTOBER 20TH

Imagine if you will, spending your formative years growing up in the lush hills outside the Uruguayan capital Montivideo. Your bandleader father filling your head with rhythms of the Samba, brought south from Brazil, and the unbeatable songs tht filled the grooves of albums by the likes of Mel Torme, Tony Bennett and of course " Ol ' Blue Eyes " himself.

Now imagine your mother taking you away from this at the age of eight and ending up in Dalston, London E8. A big change for sure, though still easy to find lots of South American goods and essentially an area that still valued it's music.
Such is the story of Frederick Pasquan, the originator of the E-Z Drum and Bass sound.

Frederick has grown up surrounded by music, latterly Reggae, Soul, HipHop, House and Jungle, but his mind always goes back to his earliest influence. For the past two years he has worked dilligently in his own Space-Age Bachelor-Pad Studio to create an original music that brings his musical loves together in an orgasmic technicolour groove.

Discovered by Noko from Apollo 440 when he overheard Frederick playing a tape of the tune in a bar in the Dominican Republic whilst they were filming the vide for " Ain't Talkin' Bout Dub",   "Beat Girl " is the debut single by the E-Z Drum and Bass Orchestra - &nsbp;a panoramic soundscape giving you 360 degrees of full frequency and effortlessly creating a true easy record for the next century with it's own special flava - smooth, running' and lockin' ya down for the ride.
